I’m not sure if my custom built experience is suitable for syndication, what should I do?

The first thing we’ll do is assess your app to see if it is suitable for syndication. Sometimes an app may only need a few tweaks to make it suitable, sometimes there’s nothing to do at all. So please contact your CRM to arrange a conversation with our Tech team do the evaluation.

Can we support more than one app in a single template

No. This is not currently possible.

Why must apps be accessibility compliant?

Retailers are increasingly enforcing accessibility regulations such as ADA and WCAG 2. If content being syndicated is not compliant then retailers may not allow it on their sites.

Why must apps be lazy loaded?

Page load speed affects the shopper experience and is also detrimental to SEO. Flixmedia’s extensive retailer network relies on us being the most technically efficient syndicator and not adding unnecessary payload to PDPs. Lazy loading and only loading the full app once a CTA has been clicked by the shopper helps keep the Google core web vitals scores as high as possible.

Can I syndicate an app that collects shopper data via a form?

No. Collection of personal data is not allowed as retailers may not consent and it would increase the data privacy risk.
